Why should I join "the House?"

The church provides accountability to one another. For example, some people are "church hoppers". They bounce from church to church without being established in any one place. This typically results in a lower level of accountability which retards the spiritual growth of the individual. Accountability means that you permit "iron to sharpen iron" in a healthy and Godly way. (Hebrews 10:25; Proverb 27:17). You should also be a member of a church to be in obedience to the biblical pattern shown in The Book of Acts that displays the need to be attached and a part of a local body of believers. (Acts 2:47). Also, to support the God given Mission and Vision of the local congregation, by giving of your tithes, offering, time, talents and spiritual gifts, along with your prayers and intercession. (Malachi 3:6-12; 2Cor. 9:7; Luke 18:1, Eph. 4:11, Rom. 12:3-7, and 1 Cor. 12:1-12, 28).  The Household of Faith is a great place to be and we want to help you grow in your relationship with Christ, and fulfill your God given destiny.  We want to be your church home!  Come on and join us at "The House!"
