Seek First the Kingdom
Reading: Matthew 6:25-34
Devotional: "Seek first" means God doesn't get leftovers—He gets priority. The kingdom isn't just our future destination; it's God's present reign over every area of life, including finances. When we seek His kingdom first, we submit our thinking, priorities, choices, and stewardship to His rule. This doesn't eliminate planning or responsibility; it establishes proper order. Anxiety reveals misplaced trust. When we worry obsessively about provision, we've functionally dethroned God and crowned our circumstances as master. But Jesus promises that when the kingdom comes first, everything else finds its proper place. Right order invites divine stability. Today, identify one area where fear has governed your decisions. Surrender it to God's kingdom rule. Trust that when He is truly first, your needs, peace, and purpose align under His faithful provision.
