Standing Firm in the Face of Opposition

Reading: Ephesians 6:10-18, 1 Peter 3:15-16

Devotional: As followers of Christ, we're called to stand firm in our faith, even in the face of opposition or ridicule. The armor of God described in Ephesians equips us for this spiritual battle, with the Word of God as our offensive weapon - the sword of the Spirit.

Reflect on times when your faith has been challenged. How did you respond? Consider how a deeper grounding in Scripture might have strengthened your stance. Peter encourages us to always be ready to give a reason for the hope we have, but to do so with gentleness and respect.

Today, commit to strengthening your spiritual armor. Choose a verse or passage to memorize, arming yourself with God's truth. Pray for opportunities to share your faith with others, and for the wisdom to do so in a way that reflects Christ's love. Remember, when you stand on the rock of God's Word, you stand on unshakeable ground.
